Delivering apartments next to the home of football
Comprising of 472 units with secluded gardens next to England’s national football stadium at Wembley, Emerald Gardens consists of 288 studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments set around an acre of green space. Key features include a concierge, residents’ gym and clubroom, and a private screening room.
Health & Safety and Quality Control
We introduced a structural insulated panel called Panablok that can be fitted to the floorplate entirely from within the building, eliminating scaffolding generating a significant cost saving to the client. With the windows being installed from inside the building, internal fit-out could progress independently of the external façade which in turn allowed for a focus on quality with the primary weathering line rather than on opening up work for internal trades.
Landscaped gardens
Emerald Gardens is at the forefront of Wembley Park’s accommodation offering. Almost an acre of landscaped greenery surrounds the modern apartments, bringing a green haven into the big city for residents’ enjoyment.
The grounds benefit from architecturally designed landscaping, with peaceful areas including mature trees and a water feature, in a nod to Wembley Park’s green and leafy Victorian past.
Creating New Communities
Not only are the apartments ideally positioned for access to central London (Baker Street is 12 minutes away on the Underground, while Bond Street and King’s Cross are 19 minutes away), but they also enjoy an impressive setting within Wembley Park.
The area is fast becoming London’s most sought-after new district, with residential accommodation balanced perfectly by shopping and leisure facilities. The SSE Arena, Wembley Stadium and the popular London Designer Outlet shopping centre, complete with a nine-screen cinema, mean that entertainment options abound.
Relationship with Sufra
In 2014, Sisk approached the food bank, Sufra with Christmas toy donations, but having seen the poor condition of the premises our team gave it a complete refurbishment with new equipment the following year.
This included a professional catering kitchen, fire safety equipment, new toilets, full rewiring and new walls, partitions and flooring. This has helped Sufra reach out to more people with emergency food aid, access to training, employment opportunities and services that improve the health and wellbeing of vulnerable people.
